There is a service in church on most Sunday mornings throughout the year.On most Sundays, there is a service of Holy Communion that begins at 9:00am to which all are invited. All communicant members of any Christian denomination are very welcome to receive Holy Communion: all others are invited to come forward for a prayer of blessing during the communion. This service is a more traditional style of worship.
On the first Sunday each month, we have a family service. This begins at 9.00am and is primarily aimed at families and children but all are welcome to come along. This service is less traditional with some modern songs as well as hymns.
There are also a number of special services during the year, including a service of Remembrance that begins at the village war memorial, a Christmas celebration, additional services around Easter and harvest.
Our Christmas Celebration is held on Christmas Eve beginning at 5:00pm. The service starts with Lessons and Carols around the crib. This is immediately followed by a service of Holy Communion. (There is not a service on Christmas Day: those who wish may attend service at All Saints' Church, Brixowrth)
Details of all the services appear on the church notice board at the main access to the church yard from Main Street. Details are also added to this page during the weeks before each.
We are also pleased to be able to keep the church open during daylight hours every day, offering a quiet space in which visitors can pray or simply enjoy the historic surroundings.
